A law is an established principle that works the same way every time. What is Honor? Honor means to carry weight; to weigh in. To honor God you must honor His word. To honor God means that His word will carry more weight than any circumstances or opinion in your life. Nothing else anyone says will influence you more than God’s word. How much weight does God’s word carry in your life? How heavy is the word of God in the daily activities of your life? Life is a series of decisions. How much weight is God’s word in the decisions YOU make?

Creflo says to look at where YOU are right now in your life. YOU are where you are for a reason…nothing just happens! What images & words are you allowing into your mind? These words & images produces the way you think, and the way you think determines the way you feel and the way you feel determines your actions and your actions determine your habits and your habits determine your character and your character determines your destination. SO…if you don’t like where you are in life the GOOD NEWS is YOU can CHANGE IT! You do so by changing what you read, what you watch & who you listen to. If you want your destination to change you MUST allow God’s word to carry weight in the decisions you make each day…this is honoring God! You must allow God’s word to carry more weight than the pain, the betrayal, the hurt & the bitterness in your life.

You see… every obstacle you face is designed by Satan to keep you from God’s will for your life so you will stay poor, broke & depressed! To achieve God’s will for your life you must read the Bible! Think about it…every time you buy a new TV, a new cell phone, a new appliance there is an instruction manual enclosed. The Bible is God’s instruction manual for living an abundant & joyful life. I can’t tell you how many people have told Kent & I how much their life has changed by simply reading the Bible each day. It’s time for this world to experience genuine authentic power that can only be found in the word of God.

If you honor God he will honor you with what? In John 5:44 God calls this the “blessing.” The “blessing” is an empowerment to have success in EVERY area of your life. Honor is what keeps the blessing working in your life. The blessing of God will produce physical manifestations of its working.

Creflo says…try it & invite people to watch as God blesses your life. It has certainly for this great country we live in today. The

Some skeptics might say…so what does honoring God & reading the Bible have to do with my financial prosperity & the ability to pay my bills? EVERYTHING!!! Success and failure is based on honor & dishonor. What happens to a person who only regards the world’s system and walks in dishonor to God? Prayers are not answered & in Psalm 13:13 it says that “he who despises the word shall be destroyed.”

In 1 Samuel 2:30 God promises “Those who honor Me I will honor them. Those that despise me will be lightly esteemed.”

It is also important to understand this... when we do what God tells us only when its convenient for us or it doesn’t cost us anything there is NO honor in it. We must be willing to pay a price to honor God. Yes, it might mean getting up 15 minutes earlier in the am to read your Bible, it might mean forgiving someone who has hurt you, it might mean going out of your way to show kindness to someone. Are you willing to pay the price to honor God?

Many people today pay God lip service but are not honoring God with their hearts. Creflo says…show me your checkbook and your calendar & I will show you your heart! I will show you what you treasure. WOW!!! Those words pierced the crowd like a sharp knife into melted butter! “Show me your money and where you invest your time & I’ll show you what you value.” Where do you spend your time? Where do you spend your money? Once you answer those two questions you will find your HEART! (Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is there will be your heart also.)

The bottom line is this…if God’s Words carries weight in your life and you carry them out and then you pray your words carry weight in Heaven and He will carry them out.

Regardless of what’s happening in our country right now with our struggling economy the GOOD NEWS is this… God will honor those who honor Him! God will give to YOU what He can trust to work THROUGH YOU! Selfishness to self must first die and you must look outward & not inward. God’s blessings are about to pour out to all those who honor Him.

Kent & I have believed from the beginning of our MonaVie journey that God had placed us here for a reason…a divine reason. That has not changed! We also knew that our journey would come with a price…obstacles, failures & disappointments that would refine us as gold is refined in the fire. But we also knew that if we continued to keep our vision in front of us, climbed the mountain with faith & steadfastness & were obedient to God’s word & his assignment for us that He would reward our diligence. And rewarded us HE HAS! We have made some of the best friendships in the world through this business…we have incredible people like YOU in our lives for which we are SO thankful for! Doors of opportunity & prosperity are being opened for YOU and this team! And the incredible blessing that the Women of MonaVie Bible Study has been in our lives I cannot express in mere words! Lives are being renewed, transformed & changed! These faithful women are praying for YOU each day & I am in awe of what God is doing on this team & in the lives of so many of you!

Week of July 22
Thump-Thud, Thump-Thud
When a potter bakes a pot, he checks its solidity by pulling it out of the oven and thumping it. If it “sings,” it’s ready. If it “thuds,” it’s placed back in the oven.
The character of a person is also checked by thumping. Been thumped lately?
Late-night phone calls. Grouchy teacher. Grumpy moms. Burnt meals. Flat tires. You’ve-got-to-be-kidding deadlines. Those are thumps. Thumps are those irritating inconveniences that trigger the worst in us. They catch us off guard. Flat-footed. They aren’t big enough to be crises, but if you get enough of them, watch out! Traffic jams. Long lines. Empty mailboxes. Dirty clothes on the floor. Even as I write this, I’m being thumped. Because of interruptions, it has taken me almost two hours to write these two paragraphs. Thump. Thump. Thump.
How do I respond? Do I sing? Or do I thud?
Jesus said that out of the nature of the heart a man speaks (Luke 6:45). There’s nothing like a good thump to reveal the nature of a heart. The true character of a person is seen not in momentary heroics but in the thump-packed humdrum of day-to-day living.
If you have a tendency to thud more than you sing, take heart.

There is hope for us “thudders”:
1.     Begin by thanking God for thumps. I don’t mean a half-hearted thank-you. I mean a rejoicing, jumping-for-joy thank-you from the bottom of your heart (James 1:2). Chances are that God is doing the thumping. And he’s doing it for your own good. So every thump is a reminder that God is molding you (Heb. 12:5–8).
2.     Learn from each thump. Face up to the fact that you are not “thump-proof.” You are going to be tested from now on. You might as well learn from the thumps—you can’t avoid them. Look upon each inconvenience as an opportunity to develop patience and persistence. Each thump will help you or hurt you, depending on how you use it.
3.     Be aware of “thump-slump” times. Know your pressure periods. For me Mondays are infamous for causing thump-slumps. Fridays can be just as bad. For all of us, there are times during the week when we can anticipate an unusual amount of thumping. The best way to handle thump-slump times? Head on. Bolster yourself with extra prayer, and don’t give up.
Remember, no thump is disastrous. All thumps work for good if we are loving and obeying God.

Good Morning MonaVie Family!

Kent & I hope you are having a wonderful summer with your friends & families! Time invested with those you love is what makes gives true meaning! Summer is the idea time to reconnect & reunite with friends & family that we lose contact with throughout the busy work/school year. Relationships are the key to happiness, success & prosperity and the investment you make in people’s lives pay eternal rewards.

As I mentioned in my email on Friday we will have 2 more events before the BIG arrival of MonaVie’s Vice President Jeff Graham in Raleigh on Oct. 4^th. We will have an Open Meeting in August and September. Hawaiian Blue Diamond David Warden will be the presenter at our August meeting. As you know MonaVie will be opening up India & China soon and David is currently in Hong Kong. He will return next week and we will confirm the date with him for our August meeting.

has been listening to Creflo for several years now and introduced me to him last year! WOW!!! We start our day with him every am! Creflo is an incredibly wise & passionate man of God and we know that you will be inspired and motivated by his message. Kent & I truly believe that the foundation for a successful business, a successful marriage, a successful life period is a result of having a personal relationship with Christ.

Believe me…I’ve tried life both ways my friends…with Him and without Him… & WITH Him is SO, SO much better!!! We must learn to GLANCE at our circumstances & STARE at Jesus! Unfortunately, most people are not achieving results in their lives because they are doing the opposite…they are staring at their circumstances and glancing at Jesus. This is WHY they are so frustrated & depressed with their lives!

So many people think Brig Hart is a network marketing enigma. HOW could Brig have achieved such great success with no formal education? For Kent & I the answer is SO very simple…Brig is anointed by God to do what he is doing. Brig figured out a long time ago that without Christ he was nothing but WITH Christ he could achieve ANYTHING & EVERYTHING! Brig STARES at Jesus! He doesn’t stare at the world & his circumstances! If you stare at the world, stare at the news, listen to the negative nellies of the world everyday you won’t make it to lunch without wanting to slit your wrists! Think about it…when you go to a Brig conference WHAT is the message Brig is most excited to deliver to you? Is it MonaVie? Is it the 10 step pattern for success? NO! It’s the message of Jesus Christ!

He knows that if YOU ever truly GET this you will have the foundation for a successful business & life! It’s simple my friends…the message the world sends is a “can’t message”, a push you down into the ground message that says you’re not worthy or capable of achieving great things. God’s message is one of hope, love, inspiration…one that builds you up & inspires you to go above and beyond!

Believe in Yourself…

Before you can achieve your full potential in life and before you can discover what the vision God has for your life you have to find a firm foundation on which to build your self-worth. Your self worth cannot be determined by what you do, what you possess, your education, your socioeconomic status…it can be none of that. Your self worth has to be determined by what God says about you. Just as your beliefs can move you forward in life your “shadow beliefs” can hold you back. What are “shadow beliefs”? That’s the little voice in your head whispering to you that you’re not worthy, not able, and that you’ll never make it. What are your “shadow beliefs”? Today, I challenge you to bring them out into the open and expose them to God’s Word. They are NOT true! Do not allow them to determine your future and control your life. Refuse to speak them out loud if they contradict what God says about you. When you speak these shadow beliefs you speak death over your dreams and they will not come to life.

“He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world.” (Eph 1:4). That scripture right there sums it up! Even if nobody on this planet has ever valued you or showed you love in any way, this verse shatters this myth of rejection and unworthiness…God chose YOU! You are not a mistake, you were hand-crafted by God and called for a very special purpose on this earth! He only made ONE of YOU! Look at your fingerprint…there are 6.7 billion people on this planet and no one has this one but YOU! God has precut you to fill a particular purpose on this planet that no one else could fill! YOU ARE SO SPECIAL! YOU WERE SELECTED! That is the TRUTH! Not those lies that are being whispered in your ear! I always tell my daughters to listen to their heart…that is where God lives.

Don’t try to be like somebody else…be yourself! Be the YOU that God designed YOU to be! Think about it this way…regardless of what you like or dislike about yourself, you must be okay because God chose you…he doesn’t make mistakes! Stop doubting yourself and competing with other people. Nobody can take or stop what God has planned for you. You have a choice today…you can let other people determine your self worth or you can let God.

God planned you, he saw you, he counted every hair on your head, he knew the specific purpose you were designed to fulfill and he gave you the gifts you would need. He is so proud of YOU!

Can you say these things about yourself? You need to! You need to get in agreement with your Father, because other people treat you according to how you treat yourself. If you don’t like the way people respond to you, stop and ask yourself…”what message am I sending to others? If you want to be treated well, you have to send a positive message that says…”I’m somebody because God made me somebody and I feel good about me.”

It’s that inner strength that makes you attractive when you walk into a room and causes others to say…”Who is that”…”There’s something different about that person.” It’s not because of how you look but because of the way you carry yourself…your presence has an impact. It’s not pride, it’s just healthy self-esteem based on God’s opinion of you. Jentezen Franklin calls it “God-esteem.” When you have it, it affects how you talk to people, how you pray, how you run your business, and how you live your day to day life. With health God-esteem you can take the rejection, you can take the “no’s”, you can press on with a positive outlook each day because you know that you value does not come from people…it comes from God.

Sometimes God has to reduce us to deliver us…he has to diminish us to elevate us. Our struggling economy is a great example of this. When an individual or a country is being diminished numerically, it’s because God is driving us back to our source. It may seem like you’re being diminished in some way in your life right now. If you are… consider it a blessing because there is no greater or safer place than to be in God’s arms…in the center of His will for your life…even if it is an uncomfortable place. “That place is called the place of Blessed Subtractions.” That’s when he diminishes us so he can build our faith up in Him. Many people in the roaring 80’s & 90’s placed their faith in their finances. Although it was great to have a booming economy that was never where our strength was in the first place.

God has always been the strength of the

. Many folks now realize that and will rebuild their finances but this time will build their financial house on a solid and firm foundation. When you build your life and your business on the rock of God no man can ever tear it down! How awesome is that!!!! Look at Brig Hart’s business! He promoted to Double Crowne Black Diamond last year…worst year in the economy since the Great Depression! He’s not working in man’s economy but God’s economy!!!

Get rid of that “stinkin thinking” today…this small minded thinking that says…”Who am I to do anything great…”I’m just a nobody in life, I’m defeated, nobody wants to talk to me, I’m not supertalented, I’m just average…blah, blah, blah!!! Stop speaking that rubbish!!! That’s a self-defeating attitude! The devil’s only hope is that you stay stuck in this land of negative talk so you will NOT respond to God’s calling for you life. YOU ARE IMPORTANT & YOU ARE HERE TO DO IMPORTANT THINGS! Believe that you can! Build that business, birth that dream! If you can believe it, you can do it! And don’t ever quit! This is no time to have a pity party and get discouraged…you don’t have time for that! This is a time to ask God to show you who you really are and what you’re capable of & then go & DO IT!

If you’ve gone through a setback like so many of us today and you feel broken…you need to trust God, pick yourself back up and praise Him. When you go though a breaking experience… a divorce, a sickness, a job loss, a financial setback and you still maintain your vision and your faith WATCH OUT…you are getting ready to be blessed! It is then that you will take hold of your POWER and the blessings will be poured out of Heaven for you!

I know this is true team because for years and years I put my faith in all the wrong things…I built my house on a sandy foundation and when tested it was blown away. Today, we have built our house on solid ground and through YOU we will change millions of lives. Start building your God-esteem today! He has a great life planned for YOU!!!

What do YOU want out of Life?

God has created YOU to “reach.” He wants you to have goals, dreams…visions! He wants you to always be striving for that next mountaintop. And in order to get on that mountain you must start in the valley. This is where all of the growth occurs. You’re never gonna live on the mountaintop because once you arrive there will always be another mountain to climb, because God is always on the move! He is not a passive God…he is an active God. And He created YOU in Him image…to be active in your life…always reaching and striving. God is so very wise because He knows that the time when you’re the most vulnerable in your life is NOT when you’re weak but when you’re strong. Once you’re on that mountaintop and everything seems to be going your way you ease back into complacency and self reliance. The real progress in your life is made in the valley when you’re going through the trials… when you’re being stretched & tested and must rely on God for your provision. So if you’re in the valley right now be THANKFUL for this time because it is during this precious time that your faith grows and you are given the opportunity to develop an intimate relationship with God and understand His true love for you.

Joyce Meyer compares the birth of our dreams to pregnancy…the conception, birth & delivery of a baby. Before a baby can be born he/she must be conceived. It is the same with your dream. You have to conceive your dream. What is YOUR dream? Have you prayed and asked God to show you His will for your life? You should live your life as God made it…full of possibilities…not positivities. He gives you the grace and ability to achieve your dreams but you must also do your part. Once you conceive your vision you then go through “pregnancy” which is a difficult time of change. This is where your perseverance and patience are tested. Ecclesiastes 5:3 says “For a dream comes with much business and painful effort, and a fool’s voice with many words.” In other words, it’s pretty easy to SAY you’re gonna do something but quite another to follow thorough and actually DO it. In order for your dream to come to pass you must put forth some painful effort. A baby cannot be birthed without some pain just as your dream cannot be birthed without some pain and effort. You will have to get out of your comfort zone and reach. You’re gonna make mistakes through the process and that is okay…that is simply part of the process. Don’t get impatient like Sarah and and try to birth things in your own time. Your dream may not come to pass as quickly as you would like it to. God’s timing is NOT your timing. You must trust that He knows best and his timing is the RIGHT time!

Pregnancy is a time of first expectation. When a woman is pregnant we say she is “expecting.” You must have this same EXPECTATION with your dream. The woman KNOWS she will birth a baby in 9 months. She also knows that the process will require some painful effort. Your VISION goes through this same process. This is why it is SO important to keep at attitude of EXPECTATION while you are waiting for your dream. Do not let the thief steal your dream. He will whisper in your ear that it is never going to happen and that you should give up. This is a LIE! Your expectation needs to be aggressive and you need to talk to God about it first thing in the morning! WORDS are extremely important! Your voice is extremely important! God SAID “let there be light” & there was light!

Approximately 10 times in the first few verses of Genesis God SAID something…he SAID! He demonstrated for us from the very beginning of time the importance of our WORDS! The power of life & death ly in the tongue! It’s very important WHAT YOU SAY about yourself, others, your future and your expectations. Get up in the am & TALK OUT LOUD! Are you expecting favor? Are you expecting good news? Are you expecting people to want to join your business? Are you expecting wisdom? OR are you a “wait and see” person? Do you have a passive attitude? While it may be true that you can’t control everything in your life by positive confession the more you agree with God the more likely you are to have it and the more you agree with the devil the more likely you are to have that.

Who are YOU in agreement with?

Psalms 27:13 says What would become of me had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living?

What does it mean to WAIT on God? Wait means to EXPECT GOD! Are you expecting God to show up in your life today? Are you expecting Him to change your finances? Are you expecting to hear His voice? Although you may be “waiting” physically for God you should be very active “spiritually.” We tend to do the opposite…we do nothing spiritually and try to do everything physically to make something happen in our lives. Kent & I have learned to approach our MonaVie business with “faith & expectation.” MonaVie is simply a part of our everyday lives. We share it everywhere we go during the day. We are the messengers of hope and health…not THE message. Some people receive today, some tomorrow, some never. We know that He will bring the right people in our business if we continue to do our part, have faith and keep a positive, expectant attitude.

Today people live too much in the “flesh” and allow life to suck then up and steal their dreams and visions. You gotta be & stay aggressive! YES…even when you don’t FEEL like it! Especially WHEN you don’t feel like it! If you GET UP and get aggressive in spirit your flesh will catch up!

Esther is a great example in the Bible of a lady who maintained a good attitude and was rewarded for it. She was a young Jewish girl that was taken to serve in the haram of the King. This was NOT the plan she had for her life. Her life had not turned out the way she thought it would turn out. Do YOU feel like that? If so…read the story of Esther and how she turned it all around with a good attitude.

You can’t say you trust God if everytime something goes wrong in your life you get a bad attitude. Because Esther maintained a good attitude she obtained the favor of God. Esther 2:9 says

“He speedily gave her the things of her purification & her portion of food and the 7 chosen maids to be given to her from the King’s palace and moved her & her maids to the best apartment in the haram.”

God is showing us that if we maintain a good attitude through our trials we’ll go through them a lot faster! Would you like more speed in your life right now? Then check your attitude.

When things don’t go your way remember that God has a plan and to keep a good attitude. Something no one can ever take away from you is your GOOD ATTITUDE! No matter where you are right now in your life if you have a good attitude God WILL give you favor! He has spoke it and it is true! You can count on it! It’s simple…if you want your dreams to come to pass you can’t be like everyone else. You are IN the world, but not OF the world. When everyone else is moaning, groaning and complaining you must be THANKING GOD for his blessings. You must be speaking EXPECTATION into your life. This is THE difference between a happy, successful person and one who is not. When you get negative while you’re waiting for your dream to come to pass you are DELAYING your dream! You must remain positive and expectant! You will see your dream come to pass! It’s God’s promise!

Good Morning to all; two days and -2lbs for me – putting me within 4.6 of the new goal. Margaret has dropped 1.5; she is within 2 of her lowest and getting serious again. Her goal is -10 by this time in June. She is 35 from goal.

One bite at a time and one day at a time – school is getting ready to break for the summer-should be a good time to sow seeds for a great fall harvest. Going into the 7^th yr (MonaVie as a business) and 2 Billion in sales (took apple 10 yrs to do this). In this time period MonaVie has paid out 1 Billion in commissions to the distributors, making a new millionaire every “Three (3) Weeks”. How is that for something to fight the recession? Good Morning everyone; Margaret is at set point-she has dropped a pound and half-putting her back to where she was a few days ago. Seems we both got off the track with our business move-point is that we have sort of been coasting-that’s good as we have not gone up or down-staying within striking distance so to speak. We have both set new goals – Margaret is looking to drop 10lbs in the next 30 days and I have realigned my goal to 184. We have to have something to reach for as this is a journey and not a destination. When we reach where we think we are going we find that there is another horizon to view. WOW!!! What an INCREDIBLE night! Words cannot express the energy that filled that room last night! It was absolutely electrifying! The words that were spoken last night pierced my soul like an arrow. As I was sitting there listening to the nuggets of wisdom from our executive team it was like it was my very first meeting…as if I were hearing these words for the very first time. I want to share with you this am what I took from this very important night.

Annette Stover, our Diamond from Wilmington, opened the meeting with RVL weight loss results.

Urgency Vs. Priorities is the key. We tend to focus on our urgencies. Urgent things demand your attention right now and could be a waste of time. Most people are content with comfort…which is the breeding ground for mediocrity.

They are “too tired to move.” They are too tired to move because they have NO PURPOSE…they have NO PASSION! Have YOU settled for mediocrity? If you don’t know what’s important in life you will get comfortable. You must find out what drives you. What is your passion? What is your purpose?

Success in life is about consistency and placing urgency on your priorities. He drew a 4 quadrant diagram on a white board and explained that we spend most of our life in quadrant 3 which is the quadrant of mediocrity.

Have you gone through your being day very busy but feeling at the end of the day like you have accomplished nothing? This is because we waste our time in a reactive mode. The secret of life & its abundance is in quadrant 3 which is God, our health, family & financial planning. These are things that are important but aren’t demanding our attention right now so we let them slide. These are things that are in the future that we need to act on today. When we don’t spend time in quadrant 2 we end up in Quadrant 1 which is in Crisis and Deadlines. For example, when we don’t plan today for our retirement today we end up in crisis later in our elder years. Quadrant 4 is Waste. Anytime you find yourself doing anything in excess you are in waste mode. Our goal is to shift from quadrant 2 to quadrant 3. The secret to making this shift is finding your PASSION. Henry defined Passion as the will and desire to sacrifice what you want now in pursuit of a dream or goal you want more.

What do you want to be known for?

What do you want in life?

A year from today what will you be glad you decided to do?

A year from now are you gonna be glad you ate the right things? Spent time with your children?

It keeps going when faith does not. Let’s face it…we’re all human and because of that our faith will be shaken at times because of obstacles and circumstances. That’s okay because that’s when our trust (commitment) kicks in. You must decide upfront that you are committed and will persevere even when you don’t have the faith (confidence) that things are working out as planned. You must decide that you will finish the race no matter how long it takes and no matter how hard the road gets. That is the kind of perseverance this great country of ours was built on.

What is the most important Activity to do in MonaVie?

Morning weigh in; Margaret said she has not been to the scale since last week, she was up then and now is down -1.75 (-28 total and as she says it has been a crazy two weeks) and I'm at 191.2 (.4 from lowest and 3 lbs from Goal). I've relaxed my eating somewhat with the move and all. Even with this I find that I’m maintaining my weight – keep in mind I’ve not fallen back into the bad habits that got me into the trouble to begin with. Watching Margaret yesterday in her brown slacks-holding the waist out and then turning to look at the fit- “Well these are ready to fall off of me-can’t wear these anymore!” The smile filled the room-so very proud of her.

I want to suggest a book-“Life Lift” by Rex Crain – with this he hits lots and lots of nails on the “Head”. A must read for anyone and a really great read for youth, midlife crisis, single parents, those who feel there is nowhere else to turn (he really puts a different twist to the reasoning to not end it all), economy victims, like I said just anyone.

Wow, life is good and we are in upside down mode. We have moved from our location at 1224 Alice Dr. Suite E to our home at 508 W. Hampton. Not ready for business full time yet but it is coming. This is our third move in 40 yrs and I think we found more things to keep over the last twenty yrs. than in the first twenty. It’s like we have two of everything and then some more than that-you have to laugh or you would sit and cry-our Lord is faithfull and his Favor surrounds us like a shield (Proverbs and Philemon). This too shall pass and we are claiming all the good things that he has for us.

Weigh in this morning found us both at set point and for all the nutty eating we have been doing this is fantastic news. I know that some have asked what happens (working with the RVL weight management system) when you start eating meals again-so now I know-just keep a watch and you do just fine. Sleeping in a little (just the past two days) has been nice too. Back to the paint brush and the dumpster-look for a huge yard/porch sale in the next 30 days.

Good Morning, Thank you for stopping by. We are very busy with our move so I have been neglecting my daily posts (sorry). We are both doing very well with the weight loss, Margaret is -28.85 and I'm -38 lbs. I'm 3 pounds from my goal (188.2) BTW the .2 is there just to get me at total loss of over 40 lbs (bragging rights). Margaret is still not revealing any numbers but is now saying that she is half way to her total weight loss goal.

Paths without Obstacles Don’t Lead Anywhere Important…

To get to the “promised land,” you’ll have to navigate through the wilderness. All of us encounter

obstacles, problems, and challenges across our paths, and our decisions as to how to respond

to them and view them are significant.

A person with twenty challenges is twice as alive as a man with ten. If you haven’t gotten any challenges you should get down on your knees and ask, “God don’t you trust me anymore”?

So what if you’ve got problems…that’s good! Why? Because consistent victories over problems are important steps on your stairway to success. Be thankful for challenges, for if they were less difficult, someone with less ability would have your job.

This morning Margaret is at set point (she is -28 lbs and looking sooooo good. It is so true that good things come to those that are patient and love the Lord). I dropped -.8 and now and at -36.2 down to 192.2 and just 4 lbs from Goal. YES!!!

Good Morning MonaVie Family!

Kent & I got a very exciting call from a VERY excited David Warden last night. He was so excited he could hardly speak! He had just attended the packed Rex Crain event in Tulsa. Rex Crain is a life coach. He is a speaker at a lot of Brig’s big events and does meetings all across the country for R3Global. Rex’s first passion was baseball. Like a dream come true, he was picked up and signed by The Boston Red Sox at the age of 18. But just weeks before leaving for his second season, Rex had a spiritual encounter that altered his life's course and caused him to leave his baseball career behind and pursue the discovery of his "God idea." Since that day, Rex has developed a confidence in the ability and willingness of God to help people and to change their lives.

David said the event was INCREDIBLE and he was so excited to buy Rex’s new book Life Lift and went to his literature table to get his autograph. When he called me he said…”Guess WHO I just had a long, belly to belly encounter with?” I said “who?” Rex Crain! “He was SO incredible Sherry. I am so inspired and so in awe by what he just said. As Heather & I are talking to him he paused & looked into my eyes and said…”I have never done this before at a meeting but I have to tell you that I feel compelled to pray for you right now…right at this very moment.” As he was praying for David he told him that he saw explosive growth happening under his left leg, under a team that had been faithful and diligent. David said he knew instantly it was his NC team…that it was YOU! For those of you that are Christians and live by faith you know that this is confirmation from God. When you put God first in your lives and are obedient to His word He REWARDS YOU! For those of you who are skeptical and don’t believe or are unsure of what you believe I would say this to you…WATCH & WITNESS as the mighty hand of God works these next few months. Your faith will grow by what YOU witness. Kent & I have said for over a year now that 2011 is a Supernatural Year of Blessings. This means that it is by the hand of God that we will prosper. God is the reason! This is the season! God is the answer! He is the answer to ALL that you seek! He is going to POUR the blessings of favor on this team! Remember the story of the fishermen in the Bible who had fished all day but had caught nothing? Jesus told them to go back out one more time and cast their nets on the other side. This is what our team has done this year. After a very challenging 2010 we have gone back out. We’ve gone back out in faith. We’ve gone back out in obedience. These fishermen’s boat became so overloaded with fish they could hardly hold them in their boat. They were rewarded for their obedience. You see my friends God wants us to have FAITH in Him. He wants to teach us to walk by faith, not by sight. He wants us NOT to look at our circumstances but look at what His word tells us. His word is the ONLY truth in the world today and the path of Christ is a narrow one. But when you walk it and are obedient to it the rewards will chase you down…you cannot contain them!

I share this with you because I want YOU to remember this day. Write it down because what you are able to witness is going to blow your mind! God has once again confirmed this journey we are on. He is blessing this company and this team because we are putting Him first. Did you know that last week was the BIGGEST WEEK in MonaVie history?!!! Is that awesome of what?! God is SO, SO GOOD! He gets ALL of the credit! He gets all of the glory!

RVL is sweeping the country like wildfire & God has put His stamp on it! It’s coming hard and fast to our area!!! God’s volcano of supernatural blessings is about to erupt! How very blessed we are to be a part of it. We are so humbled and are so grateful!

THANK YOU so much for sharing this great journey with us. We are just getting started! In less than a year we will be filling coliseums with masses of people! We believe it! We serve a HUGE GOD…a God that is master of the universe…He is omnipotent and has NO limits! As long as we put Him first and as Rex Crain said…focus on the outcome and not the income God will pour his favor out on us. Remember, our ultimate goal is to LOVE people and bring them into His kingdom. Your eternal life and the eternal lives of those you love is what matters most.

David also told us that the Fab 5 promo is a HUGE, HUGE SUCCESS!!! IT WORKS!!! Tulsa Blue Diamonds Tim & Emily Wilson said that everyone they have given one to has signed up! If you haven’t made your bags yet you need to get movin’ because there are people out there who desperately need RVL! There are people out there that God has called YOU to speak to…has called YOU to deliver His message of hope, health & prosperity to.

The bottom line is this team…this COMPANY, this TEAM, & YOU are BLESSED! We are blessed & highly favored! You are about to witness the blessings of God like you have never seen! Please make sure you are giving THANKS each day for what is already happening in the spiritual realm and is getting ready to show itself in the natural realm. You see the way God works is the exact opposite of the way the world works. In God’s economy you must BELIEVE it before you can SEE it. By SPEAKING it you bring it to you from the spiritual world into the natural world. This is WHY we are always talking to you about the importance of your WORDS…the importance of speaking love, properity and success into your life. As Paula White says…your mouth is a supernatural instrument for God. Your words create your world! God has a storehouse of blessings waiting for YOU but He can’t release them when your words do not align with His plan for your life. You gotta SPEAK it to RECEIVE it! Kent & I have been SPEAKING it into YOUR lives! For believers and nonbelievers we cover you with His blood. We cover you with his favour.

As God blesses your business please remember to GIVE BACK. God will not continue to give TO us what He can’t move THROUGH US. We must give to the MORE Project, we must make sure we are blessing God with our first fruits. When you honor God with the first 10% of your income He will multiply the other 90%. Believe me…He can do more with your 10% than you can do with your entire 100%! (Click for Kids is a great program…check it out)

I want you to go out today with a BIG, BIG SMILE on your face and when people ask you WHY you’re in such a great mood YOU TELL THEM…IT IS GOD!!! God is blessing me! He is showering me with His love and blessings! You see… people will WANT THAT! People today want to be around happy, excited people! We as Christians are supposed to be the LIGHT of the world. We are supposed to bring people to Christ through our positive attitudes and loving spirits! YOU have EVERYTHING in the world to be HAPPY about today! God has confirmed that we are in His will and are getting ready to experience a MASSIVE EXPLOSION!!! WOO…HOOOOO!!!!!

I leave you this morning with great LOVE in my heart for YOU. Regardless of where you are at on your spiritual journey we want you to know that God loves YOU! We love YOU! We are here for YOU! We are a phone call away.

2-23-2011 Morning Weigh In and Uodates

This morning’s weigh in found Margaret down.2 and I dropped a pound (one of the 1.8 I gained over the weekend) we are both on track and Margaret is Close to -27-we are so proud of her.

We welcome Shelley Galloway to the MonaVie family and are looking for great things for her future and her health.

We are also celebrating with Kay Rabon (MonaVie family member about a month ago) she sent me this update this morning

“Greetings, just a update. Drumroll....... 1 month- down 15.4 lbs and down 1 size. I haven`t been sweatin` to the oldies( lol ) but sure have been sweatin to the treadmill. Great results, this plan is GREAT!!!! I feel so much better. On the downside, I will be having surgery on March 10. This means no exercise for 2-4 weeks. I`m staying on the program hoping to maintain during this time until I can hit the walking again. For now I`m trying to give it my all until then. Thank`s for all your support and emails. They are so encouraging. Hope the both of you have a Blessed day, Kay”

2-3 Day Break from the Scale

We've had house guest for three days so the "Scale" has not been part of our mornings. We've stayed 85-90% with the program-but have relaxed for this time. Tomorrow will tell the story. We are trying to finish the last bed room in the 115 yr old home of ours so I can finally have an in home office. Looking good and should be finished this week or by mid of next. We have a home tasting coming up with Gabby in Mineral Spring on Saturday the 26th and are looking for a great turnout there.

Congratulations to Margaret, she dropped a pound this morning -26 total at this point and down two sizes, clothes are getting lose. I stayed the same-that is fine as I dropped 1.6 pounds yesterday. I am now down 8 ½ inches in my waist, the 34” jeans are starting to get lose.

A few Points to Remember

I hope you all are having a great start to this week, Margaret and I had a great weekend- I ended up being a bad fellow (Wilber) with my eating and from Friday till this morning I managed to find 1 ½ pounds that I had lost last week. Anyway-it happens and they say that confession is good for the soul-so now I feel better.

I want to congratulate everyone that is on the RVL weight management system and remind us all of a few points,

First, the capsules in our system are part of the total system, they really will have no effect if we separate them from the shakes and mid morning and mid-after noon snacks. We’ve had lots of folks calling wanting to know if they can buy the capsules separately, the point is that we have all been subjected to the thought process-“Just take a pill and fix it.”

Some folks are getting the system and just taking the capsules and eating as normal-not going to work this way. We need to think on the lines that we are consuming 1200-1400 calories and feeling great and not hungry, or craving. Margaret and I have found that this does work.

Second, We are trying to create a new way of life for our bodies, a new way of eating, of thinking of food-this is a life time process not a quick fix. We are made up mostly of water, so water is a very important part of your daily intake- 8-8oz glasses or more, exercise is important and that does not need to be sweating to the oldies (although it can), walking is great (what we were made for) a mile or two and that should take no more than 30 minutes, can be part of your morning, noon or night. I find morning is best as nothing else gets in the way or the I’ll do it later’ dosen’t get in the way.

Third, we are all in this together in some way shape or form-need help or a reassuring pat on the back, call us or if you want we can start a group and support one another, let us know- we are here for one another and are happy to help.

Fourth, Please go to www.monaviervl.com and use the free system to track you weight loss, plan your meals, track your BMI, water intake and share your story. Remember to register for the $5000.00 drawings that will be done every 12 weeks, only four times –one guy and one girl to win each time. MonaVie goal is to have 1,000,000 lbs lost this yr and that amount of money raised for the MORE project. Details are on line at the above link.

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

Kent & I wish each of you a wonderful Valentine’s Day today! We LOVE you dearly and are so very blessed to have YOU in our lives! Through your friendship over the past 3 years God has demonstrated the true meaning of life to us.

We have learned that the eternal value we all seek is found in the love we give to each other. To love another human being and to sew into their lives is the REAL GIFT of our journey here on earth. All of God’s commandments for us, His people, can be summed up in only two…Love God & Love Each Other.

THANK YOU for opening your minds and hearts to this wonderful product and opportunity. THANK YOU for all the love and support you have given to us over the past 3 years. Your heartfelt emails and phone calls mean so much to us. YOU are the reason we do what we do. YOU are the reason God has called us to be here. This business is SO much bigger than juice, so much bigger than weight loss, so much bigger than each of us. There is something so very powerful about like minded people coming together with a common vision, with a shared dream and an unwillingness to give up in hard times. There is something so very special about people who set their minds and keep them set. There is something so life changing about the past 3 years we have traveled this road with you. Think about it…look at all of the lives that have been renewed and restored as a result of God’s vision. When God places a vision in your heart there is nothing that can stand in your way of seeing it to fruition. I just love the story of Joseph. He is a great example of how God’s love can turn any situation around for our good. Love conquered jealousy, hatred, unforgiveness & anger. Instead of seeking revenge on the brother’s who mistreated him he loved them. God elevated Him to such high levels in life because of the love he showed to others. In this business we take a lot of criticism & rejection from family members, friends & people who are simply negative nellies. But you must realize it just part of the journey. There will always be people who don’t “get” it, people who are determined to live their lives unhappily. But Kent & I believe that many of them will be transformed by WHAT they see happen on this team…by how we live our lives and the unconditional love that our team continues to show to them. We love them period! Whether they choose to “see” it or not we LOVE them! LOVE is the glue that holds it all together!

We have missed you! We have so much to share with you!

Kelly's Testimony

Kelly’s story…

On reflecting about Valentine's Day and all that it means I could not help but think that the greatest gifts we can all receive is the love of God, the love of each other, and our health. I recently heard during a sermon that love is selfless and sacrificial and I truly do believe that to be true. When we put others needs and the desire to serve ahead of ourselves we are truly blessed. The happiest people I know are also the most unselfish people I have ever met.

Back in the summer when I met you Sherry, my health issues seemed to be multiplying. I shared with you how I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, had arthritis in my knees that kept me from doing all the vigorous exercise I so loved to do and was also awaiting major surgery for a separate issue. I thank God for meeting you and for being willing to share MonaVie with me. You even insisted you would help me after my surgery. TaIlk about selfless and sacrificial love!

Praise God I did not need that major surgery thanks to Monavie Mmun and the miracle it did in my body! I truly believe that when we give our bodies the nutrition God intended it to originally have, our bodies can heal. When I started drinking Monavie I thought I was drinking it to get stronger for my surgery. I never thought I would wind up canceling my surgery!!! Also, thanks to Monavie Active I am back at the gym exercising and have lost weight on the Monavie RVL. I have not felt this healthy in ages!

Shortly before I met you I was feeling absolutely physically drained and struggling to keep up with my 3 young children ages 3, 5 and 7. I remember being on my knees in my bedroom praying to the Lord, "Lord I know I am just a stay at home mother and I am not in some research laboratory somewhere with a microscope, but please let me in on a natural secret. I know you are leading me not to take medicine but to find a natural solution. Lord, you are able; reveal it to me." At that period in my life I was led over and over again to Jeremiah 33:3 " Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know". He is faithful and DID answer! Meeting you, Sherry was a divine appointment and I thank you for your endless supply of selfless and sacrificial love. Thank you for sharing Monavie and introducing me to some of the nicest people I have ever met.

All of the blessings I have received brought me to one final question as we approach Valentine's Day. How can I show love this week in a tangible way and give back? This week I have decided I am going to be very purposeful in my conversations and share MonaVie and my testimony with several people on my list. Who wouldn't benefit from this wonderful product??? I loved the idea of giving away a 3 day supply of MonaVie RVL for folks to try for free. I am planning to do that as well and then follow up.

As I have said to you before, Sherry, I do believe that this product is God breathed and endorsed by Science. I believe His divine favor is on this company and I am excited to see the blessings fall on people who so willingly share His selfless and sacrificial love! Let's continue to Pray It Forward in 2011!!!

We are so thankful to Kelly for her wonderful testimony. I met Kelly at my daughter’s school over the summer. Both of our children we participating in a basketball camp and we were sitting next to each other.

Little did I know when I went to that game that God would place Kelly in my life. She has an incredible testimony with the product and is now engaging in the business. How GREAT God is!

ASK Him to send YOU the right people and He absolutely will!

This is WHAT it’s about!!! Helping people!!! It’s not complicated! It’s SO simple! It’s WHAT God put us on this planet to do!

LOVE & HELP PEOPLE! When your goal is to HELP PEOPLE God will place the ones in front of you that need helping. He does this because your motives are pure and your intent is to be a blessing. The best advice Kent & I can give you is to ASK GOD each day…

”Who can I help today God?”

This morning I was reading a book by our R3Global Pastors Ed & Cheryl Henderson entitled For the Love of God and these words jumped out from the page at me:

“God knows exactly what you need and He will bring the right people across your path at the perfect time. They may or may not have a title, and may not be exactly what you are expecting, but they will be the right people. When you have experienced a divine appointment, you will love God even more because you realize He is always working on your behalf. You just have to believe it and be on alert for those God-arranged meetings.” (p. 61).

This is a book we bought at TPC in Jan. It is a small, easy book to read and is WONDERFUL! It is available on www.r3global.com.

It is a personal testimony of an everyday, non-famous couple who God has used to reach thousands of people for Jesus. They help you understand how they leaned to love God extravagantly and the challenges one will face and overcome on that journey.

Leadership…what is it?

Trapped in every seed is a forest. In every boy God hides a man. In every girl a woman.

In every cow a herd. In every fish a school. Your potential is in your GIFT.

“The seed of everything is it itself.” Your future is trapped in you. Your future is not in the economy of the world.

Your future is bright. You will prosper. You have what you need to succeed inside you. You must stay away from environments that do not germinate your seeds. Stay away from “toxic” people…people who are negative and bring you down. This is WHY you stay in touch with your MonaVie family and come to the meetinsgs…so your seeds can become a tree! You CAN make a difference in your generation. PURSUE YOUR GIFT OF LEADERSHIP!

Don’t go looking for it outside yourself. It is buried on the inside of YOU!

Trees never eat their own fruit. Whatever you were born to do it’s not for you…it is to serve humanity…to make other peoples lives better. Your success will depend on how successful you help others to be.

There is hope for you…you don’t have to be the tallest, strongest, smartest…to be the leader.

The KEY to a lion’s leadership is:

1) Attitude of mental conviction about himself

2) Belief in the potential of his creative skills & resources for the benefit of his objective.

3) Confidence in his ability to achieve his objectives and accomplish his goals.

In other words…the LION is as “big” as the thinks!

YOU have the “seed” of leadership inside of you…YES YOU DO…God made you that way!

God never created you to be dominated by another human being. In Gen 1:26 “God created man to have dominion over fish, birds, cattle, anything that creeps”. It does NOT say “man.” This is why so many folks are unhappy in a “job.” This company sets people free from domination and helps them to chart their own destiny. We are ALL leaders…God created us all to lead in our “gift.”

The heart of true leadership is vision, destiny and passion. Your passion must override your personal comfort. All leaders sacrifice to succeed. Never trust a man that’s never come through a crisis…Leaders never wear metals on their chest but sores on their back. Greatness always demands a price.

Leaders have vision. How do you know a “vision” is genuine”?

A true vision will always benefit others & make the world a better place. It’s only about “you” it’s called “ambition.”

If your vision is to help others…success will come to you!

The greatest gift God ever gave man is not the gift of sight but is the gift of vision.

Vision shows you what can be. Your eyes show you what is.

Sight is a function of the eyes. Vision is a function of the heart.

Never invite anyone to follow you without a “vision.”

What we love about MonaVie & relational marketing is that it forces us to look deep within ourselves for that leader…for that potential that God gave each of us. Sometimes we must venture well out of our comfort zone and stretch ourselves to limits we otherwise thought impossible…and it is there we find the “victory.” After all…don’t we all want to die “empty”?

Weigh In, Set point for myself, for 12 wk loss is 34.2 an average of 2.85 lbs per week and 2.17 for Margaret- total of -26 lbs. We both feel fantastic-first time since age "11" that I remember not having a gut over my belt. Fellas, ladies, it will do wonders for your self esteem.

Step out of the Boat…

Get out of the boat…take ACTION! Don’t miss God’s plan for your life because you are afraid to take action. Robert Kiyosaki said the one thing he learned from being in Vietnam was to ACT! God puts “faith” in all of us but we must “release” it. To release your faith you must step out of the boat! You can kill your dreams by “overthinking” them! Don’t get caught in the deadly analysis by paralysis trap…just MOVE! Remember the story of David & Goliath in the Bible? David wisely DID NOT LISTEN to his negative friends when they said Goliath was too big to kill…he RAN quickly to the battleline…while speaking words of victory…he knew that Goliath was too big to MISS!

If you stay in the boat you’re in you’ll be miserable. God shows up when YOU get OUT of the boat! He doesn’t get in the boat with you. The only way for God to do something supernatural in your life is for YOU to take a chance and get out of the boat. FEAR does NOT come from God…it comes from Satan. And Satan wants nothing more than for your fear to paralyze you and keep you from your destiny. YES…you will have to get out of your comfort zone…you can’t be comfortable & GROW!

But once you step out & see that it wasn’t that hard…your CONFIDENCE soars! The thought of picking up that phone is so much worse than actually DOING it! When your confidence and your God esteem (not self esteem) increase your faith increases & you release God’s supernatural power into your life…& THIS is when you really start to see positive growth & change in your life!

Step out TODAY & do BOLD THINGS! ITS that person that you have been putting off. Call that person that you have been afraid to call! JUST DO IT! Don’t think it to death…just ACT! Fear is always gonna come against you. You must TALK back to it by saying OUT LOUD…”I will NOT fear…I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me. I cast out fear in Jesus’ name.”

What is the boat you need to step out of? Maybe it’s a boat of your past. Maybe there is stuff buried so deep down in your heart that you have never told anyone. You need to GET IT OUT OF YOU! The Bible tells us to “confess our faults to one another that we may be healed.” Anything you have to hide has power over you! Get it up and get it out of you! Maybe your boat is someone you crave approval from. You need to confront whatever it is that is holding us back…whatever it is that you are afraid of. God has given YOU His power so YOU can do things that are hard to do. Notice I said…HIS power…not YOURS! If you’re been trying to do it on your own…forget it…you can’t! I tried that approach for years & years…believe me…it doesn’t work!

Peter was the only disciple with enough courage to get out of the boat when Jesus instructed. He chose to ACT & trust Jesus as opposed to being passive and indecisive. So many people simply choose NOT to make a decision not realizing that “indecision” is a decision! It’s seems easy to stay safe and not take any chances in life or not make any real decisions. This is LIE that the devil would have you believe. But staying safe is actually the risky route. Courage & faith are the SAFE decisions…they are the ACTIONS that will set you free & give you happiness & peace. Get a littleFIRE in you! You are the ONLY ONE who can do anything about your life! Take some responsibility for your own joy! Don’t get so caught up in what other people think. Robert Kiyosaki said you will never been successful in ANYTHING in life if you have to have other people’s approval! Who careswhat they think? The only opinion who truly matters is God’s & He says YOU ROCK!!! You are His creation & YOU are wonderful in His eyes! My attitude is this…I know who I am in Christ…I know my heart is pure and seeks to help people. If others don’t see that it’s there problem…not mine! I move on to the next person who is ready to “receive” what I have to “give.”

God has placed the POWER of the universe inside YOU! YES…YOU! He is just waiting for you to realize it! Meditate on statement today…”I can do whatever I need to do through Christ whostrengthens me.” Don’t just read it, don’t just say it once…MEDITATE on it! Meditation turns information into REVELATION! This is the deal my friends…people and situations WILL disappoint you. That’s just a fact. You will disappoint people and they will disappoint you! We are human! We make mistakes! We are born into a fleshly body that craves me, me, me! Don’t hold grudges, forgive quickly and easily just as God forgives YOU everyday! Don’t put your FAITH in people…put your FAITH in God! He will send you the right people at the right time for your business if you persevere and don’t give up! Once you accept this and are convinced of it you’ll be FREE!!! Stop asking “why” and just know that He can turn all things around for your good if you’ll keep your mouth positive and in line with His word. With Him YOU can do anything you need to do!

Now…get out of that boat & take ACTION!!! Kent & I BELIEVE in YOU! You are in business for yourself but not by yourself! You have a whole family of people who support you, who believe in you & will help YOU to reach all of your dreams and goals!

I dropped two pounds-(194.2) just 6 lbs to goal - not sure why the big drop, other than it is just what the good Lord wants. Found a great little blender-Hamilton Beach Single Serve-Wal-Mart & under $16.00 - excellent unit. Does one shake perfect!!!

This morning found Margaret at set point and I reversed most of the damage that I did in the last 5-6 days. When we both have something positive to talk about I will start with the numbers again. I know it seems so unfair that the fellas lose faster than the ladies-but I guess that this is in God's plan too. Just make sure that you are getting your exercise and your water, be mindful of that evening meal - count the calories - it is very important. The other point is that a "Little Debbie's" is really not a healthy snack in the morning or mid after noon. You need the MonaVie food bar - it is a balanced part of the program. The other item that would be good is raw veggies, carrots, grape tomatoes, celery - etc, some fruit, but please not sugar filled little desert cakes. That is like going to reverse everything you did the day before.

Hello Everyone, hope you are having a nice although wet day. Morning weigh in found us both at set point and that is fine with us. Must remember to be kind and gentle to our bodies. We didn't get to this weight over night and will not get back to correct and healthy weight over night either. So -25.5 for Margaret and -32.2 for myself, Margaret is 50 lbs from Goal and I'm with in 8 lbs. The great thing about MonaVie's RVL is that it is not just for weight loss. With out the capsule and taking in more calories than you burn or just what you burn you can maintain or gain weight knowing that you are getting the proper nutrition, exactly what your body needs to stay healthy.

We are encouraged with the progress we have made and I will stay with the program on a health bases to support my lovely wife till she is at goal. We still have no cravings, no jitters, no bitting of one another's heads or sleepless nights, in other words none of the normal junk associated with dieting. That's all for today, more tomorrow.

Gabby, who just started on the system, is down 11 lbs since Tuesday and Chris is down 6 lbs and Lisa is down 2, have not heard from any of the others in the group. Have a great weekend.

Good Morning/Afternoon-Morning weigh in was not a success as in we lost, I won’t get to involved other than we must have enjoyed that shrimp boil on Saturday more that we thought, the am will give us the facts and I will share more then. We are on the crest of a wave of success and this is a bump in the road and we go on from here. It happens-we don’t throw up the hands and quit or cry, combined loss in 10 weeks is 54lbs ( we are pleased for one another).

I’ve made a decision to read through Brigs’ book three times, first to get a good feel for it, second with pen and yellow highlighter(this is where I am now) and a third time with a journal to take some notes to grow by. It really is amazing what you can learn this way.

I started thinking about the amount of money that is spent on weight management products annually (these figures are for the US only) and it is more than staggering it is totally mind boggling. They tell us it is around $60,000,000,000.00 (yes that is 60 billion $$$), so let’s look at it this way about $164,383,561.66 US Dollars are spent on Weight Management “DAILY” – That is 24/7/365 days a year. Or (and I like this one) if you Had $60 billion to spend you could spend $165.4 million a year for 365 years and with interest you would “NEVER” run out of money (that is $450,000 and walking around change a day-just in case you were wondering ;>)… Now you tell me that this is not a lucrative business to be in… Thank you MonaVie and RVL. Where else can you have an opportunity to get a piece of a pie that is this “HUGE” and for under $50.00…? Well???

Ok moving along- time for a Brigism “Don’t take life to seriously, you aren’t going to get out of it alive anyway”Brig Hart

I take this to mean we have to “discipline our disappointment” (Jim Rohn)- people are going to tell us no (sometimes-it happens) but hey they pay baseball players with a batting average of 300 - $3,000,000.00 a year –that means they strike out 7 out of ten times to bat, that’s not to shabby. So how thick is your skin going to be to get your share of the $60,000,000,000.00 pie. Like I’m talking Rhino Willie here folks- yeah baby- Rhino!!! (I’m learning).

Now before someone jumps all over me about “The Evils of Money” a few points that I have come by. 1. Money is Amoral: That is it isn’t good or bad. It’s whose hand you put it in the makes the difference..! 2. Money merely magnifies or makes you more of what you already are… You can give it all away if you want, but just think of all the lives you will affect along the way with better health.

Big Changes comes from Small Steps…

God speaks to us in so many different ways. Yesterday…He spoke to me from the back of a bag of Sun Chips.

I saw this statement written on the back of the bag.…”Big changes comes from small steps”. What a simple yet profound & true statement. Life seems complicated at times but that’s because WE complicate it. It really isn’t.

God’s laws are very simple, direct and unchanging. This is one of those laws. It applies to most everything in life…your marriage, your relationship with your children, your job, your health…it touches every aspect.

Think about it…any GREAT thing you have or ever will accomplish occurred “over time” as the result of small everyday actions. Want to lose weight? We all know the secret to that...healthy eating habits & exercise over time.

Want a good marriage? Invest a little time each day putting your spouse first…strong marriages are built over time. Stock market & real estate investments? Invest small amounts each month over time. Our parents & grandparents understood that these were “long term” investments…not today’s instant gratification mentality. Wanna have healthy well balanced teenagers? Invest a little quality time each day with them as they are growing up.

The point is this…Success in life is not about doing it ALL today…it’s about doing a “little bit” everyday. The Bible tells us that even when we seek to “change” ourselves it does not occur overnight. Through God’s help and grace we will change “glory by glory.” This means it will take “time.” Network marketing is no exception to this rule. It requires that you discipline yourself to do a little bit each day and over time the “little becomes BIG.” I have a girlfriend who has exercised “15” minutes a day since I’ve known her in college. No more…no less. She is consistent as the sun is coming up in the am with her workout. Some exercise buffs would say this is not enough but time has proven them wrong. She is in great shape and looks as good as the days we were in college.

We often say this business is not a sprint but a marathon because at the end of the day the “turtle” does win the race.

This is “why” 95% of people who stick with this industry & don’t give up make a LOT of money!

Try going to the gym the 1^st week in January and then go the 1^st week of Feb. Most people don’t even stick with it a month! More than half of success in life is just NOT giving up!

Kent & I were watching Pastor Creflo Dollar this morning and his message was Breaking Down the Walls of Containment over our lives. He said the reason Satan tries to contain Christians and keep them in financial bondage is that he doesn’t want them to be heard. He wants to keep them contained to keep them silent…with no voice in the world! Think about it…when you are successful and earn the right to be heard people LISTEN to you. Look at Brig and the thousands of people he has brought to Christ. And we all know that it hasn’t been easy for Brig. Satan has bombarded Brig with adversity but Brig never gives up! Satan knocks him down and he gets up swingin’! He is determined! He is persistent! He uses the adversity as fuel and passion for Christ! He always perseveres! How do we receive our breakthrough? Creflo says we don’t do it by simply KNOWING the truth. We can know WHAT to do and not do it and see no results in our lives. We do it by CONSISTENCY & PERSEVERANCE. We do it with the small steps we take everyday. It is not the one stone we throw that breaks down the wall…but by the stones we throw each and everyday. The stones are our faithful steps forward each day.

And the adversity gets the greatest right BEFORE your breakthrough. This week

& I had something happen in our lives that was a direct attack from the enemy. We knew it. We didn’t understand it but the difference today is that we don’t HAVE to understand it. We simply trust God. God says…”ALL things work together for good to and for those who love God and are called according to His design and purpose.” We know that whatever Satan means for our harm God will turn around for our good. As long as we remain peaceful, align ourselves with His word and allow God to vindicate us we be victorious. Kent & I believe this with our whole hearts. We are NOT in the driver’s seat of life…GOD IS! Allow him to drive and you will get to your destination! And believe me you will ENJOY the journey a whole lot more!

Kent & I have learned a lot of life changing & valuable things over the past 2 years in this business. We have learned a WHOLE LOT about ourselves…our strengths and our weaknesses. We have also learned to be THANKFUL for the hard times…without them we would miss out on the biggest blessing of all…our closeness to God. “need” Him as much. We tend to get too self reliant and that always backfires in our face. Had it not been for this recession we would not have found MonaVie and we would not know YOU. No matter how big of a mess we make with our lives, no matter how many poor decisions we make, God has the ability to turn it all around for our good. And He will…if we simply have “faith” and do our part.

We have also learned to always focus on the positive. We do not get caught up in people leaving our business. We know that only 20-25% of people will “stick” with this business. Only 20% of people stick with anything in their life. Don’t sweat it! We help those who “want” to be helped and “pray” for those who don’t.

We focus on the ones who want a better life and help them to achieve it. We know that God is in control and that He will open doors for us if we discipline ourselves just to do a “little bit” each day. We had a very interesting message this morning, Clay was right on the money with the fact that obesity is epidemic. The last figures that I saw placed 34% of the US population with a BMI ( body mass index) of 30+ (that means obese) and 77% with a BMI ranging from 25 to 30 - so overweight to obese. Did you also know that a "Child" that is overweight at age 11 had a 51%+ chance of being Morbidly obese as an adult?? If you want to see what morbidly obese looks like ~ watch the biggest loser when the men first start and take off the shirts-sad to say the "VERY" least. When Margaret and I started our weight management program my BMI was at 30 and a year ago it was way over 30. Now mine is 24.8 and going down.(24.9 is the top of the normal range), Margaret is not talking, that is OK-she is on the program and losing weight and feeling great everyday and satisfied. I also see that she has taken her eyes off of the Food, Margaret is growing in the Lord and I know that he is helping her step by step.

We learned this morning that John 4: 31~34 tells us that we can have our physical needs satisfied with spiritual food. When we are doing or working to achieve our God given purpose he spiritually satisfies our physical needs and that means food too. To me it always boils down to one thing and that is taking our eyes off of us and keeping them on the Lord. He will satisfy all our needs and desires-we just have to let go and let the Lord. As Clay said we have all been involved in some event or activity and simply forgotten to eat-we sure didn't die or go mad-we made it through- we were working on the purpose God intended for us to be doing at that time and maybe for our lives.

This has been an issue in my life as well, forever. Momma and Daddy were both children of the Great Depression and with many siblings at the dinner table they always had to fend for themselves come meal time. They never went hungry, they raised most of the food that went on the table, so when it came time to raise their own families they made sure we had what they did not and lots and lots of it. You would not dare leave the table at breakfast, lunch or dinner with out cleaning your plate (there were children starving in China-never could figure out why my over eating would help some child in the far east). God help you if you took seconds and did not eat it all-that was a sin above all others and you really did not want to go there. Over the years the added calories started to add up and before you know it the familiar spare tire started to form, eating more than you burn up started to add up in my adult life as well. The yrs I spent in the Air Force did tend to thin me out as it were, they usually don't want fat people on air crews and working as a flight engineer on a rescue helicopter made that go double. But the last forty years of wedding photography every weekend and all those ham biscuits(my weakness Clay) at the reception have added up. Funny how you never see one bite at a time coming until you wake up one morning and look at a "FATTY" in the bath room mirror.

The last nine weeks (yes I said 9) have been wonderful for the waist line and the life line. Clay made a statement this morning that I have heard 3 or 4 time prior this year-"We all have a Story to Share" ! What is "My Story, what does it mean to his will in my life." The other point that I heard made was that I (we) have no right to deny others our story-Think about it this way-if we don't take care of the body that the Good Lord gave us we may not be around to share that story with others. As Clay was talking about the Uncle that died 10yrs ago and then his grandson that died in a car accident this past yr, was Grand Daddy meant to be here to talk or mentor the grandson, might he still be alive today had Grand Daddy taken care to keep living-Well God knows and we all will some day. The point is that we have all sorts of ways that we can take care of ourselves with proper nutrition, exercise, proper rest, loving others and our selves, Loving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, or we can take our own lives (God Forbid) and that can be fast or slow-over eating can be just as deadly as any other form of suicide it just takes longer and is usually far more painful - emotionally, spiritually and physically.

Clay challenged us to ask God to show us the finish line in our lives, there is no clock with our name on it, it's not a matter of your time is up. I want to live life as fully as I can, having lived so that when I leave this place for Heaven that I will still be young inside, that I will have fulfilled God's purpose here. Join us this Thursday as we fast for at least 2 meals-we give up that to show our love for our Lord and Savior.

The Great Equalizer…

Relational Marketing is the great equalizer because it is built on ATTITUDE. You are paid based on your “attitude” not your “ability.” Charles Swindoll, a minister & bestselling author, wrote,“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on my life. Attitude, to me, is more than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill…

The remarkable thing is that we have a CHOICE every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past; we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only think we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our ATTITUDE. I’m convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge of our ATTITUDES. Successful people always concentrate on the end result, while others get stuck on the process, the “how.” People with limited thinking ask “why”? Those with unlimited thinking ask “why not”? Successful people NEVER give up on their goals…they just change their attitudes.

And to have a great attitude you need to AVOID DEPRESSION…dream stealers & negative people! Often the negative people are family members or close friends! Because your success in this business depends more on your attitude than your ability it is important that we spend time associating with people who are positive and support us in our desire for success. Set clear rules for those who are constantly talking negatively about our business or criticizing our dreams. My motto is this…”Positive comments or NO comments at all….I simply don’t DO negative!” And depression can’t win if you’re constantly learning, bettering yourself, and associating with other positive people! And remember…the secret to survival is simply not to give up! The way to avoid despondency is to keep the faith! Long-term residual income never came to quitters. And be persistent. It’s not what we do once that gives us a good result but it’s what we do over and over again! Failure can’t handle persistence…persistence always wins in the end. 95% of people who remain in this industry for 10 years or longer reach the highest pay levels in their respective companies. Whatever you do, just don’t quit!

And be thankful for life’s challenges…they are essential to our growth! Without them, we would fall into a comfort zone bringing our creativity to a screeching halt. For several years our wireless business was “coasting on auto pilot”…doing very well with a minimal amount of effort on our part. During this time…I DID NOT experience a lot of personal growth…I was in a “RUT” and even though our finances were strong I was not fulfilled and happy. As Dave Ramsey said…you don’t get close to God going up the mountain but on the way down. The last three years have been filled with a lot of challenges, a lot of hard work, a lot of patience & persistence and a whole lot of FAITH! Kent & I have never been closer and we’ve never been at filled with such contentment and peace. And where there is peace there is power! We laugh more than we’ve ever laughed in our lives and we’re having the time of our lives! It doesn’t seem like “work” because we are enjoying ourselves. If you’re not having FUN you’re simply not doing it right! You should get up each am saying…I GET to share MonaVie today! What a privilege!

The only thing holding you back is your OWN MIND-SET. You reprogram your brain though POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS (p. 68-69 in Your First Year in Network Marketing). Turn off the time stealing TV…get your nose in a good book…& ATTEND ALL OF OUR EVENTS! YOU have a family now that believes in YOU…positive people that BELIEVE in your dreams! You see my friend… that is what this industry of Network Marketing is all about…building people up, not pushing them down like Corporate America. It is about helping people to be ALL that God has destined them to be…helping them to take control of their future!

Relational Marketing is a PERSONAL GROWTH BUSINESS! It is about becoming BIGGER than your problems! If you are open to changing it will transform you from the inside out. It will bring out the best in you and the worst in you. Your business will only grow to the extent you are personally growing. If you want to attract positive, successful, upbeat people to your team then you gotta BE THAT PERSON! YOU can all do it! I came from a very negative family and I have invested a whole life time into re-programming my mind. If I can do it…SO CAN YOU! After all…God knows how very special YOU are…He made only one of YOU! And He wants only the BEST for you! But in order to give it to you…you have to be in agreement with Him!

Morning weigh in, Margaret is at set point and I dropped a pound, -29.6 = 198.8 and that brings me to 24.8 BMI and that is .2 into the normal range. This is fantastic for both of us. We are having a taste it and shake it party this Saturday at 7:30 pm at our home-come and see what all the good news is about with the RVL weight management system.

We just came off a 4 day swing through Raleigh and Waxhaw meals out and out of our daily routine as we are building our MonaVie business. Morning weigh in shows Margaret and I have remained the same, no loss no Gain-fantastic news. Really is great what your body will do when the system is working right.

So many times we feel we cannot eat out-what will I do-I will blow it big time. Margaret and I try to make the same choices we would for our sensible evening meal at home. Watching the offerings, is it fried, is the choice just empty calories, portion size (for some reason my restaurants want to make everything supper size)-you are the one in charge of what you put in your body. Just because it is on your plate does not mean it has to go into your body, there is a lot to be said for a little self control. If we have a little too much fun at dinner-we just get back on the program and move forward, this is fun-it’s called life and we want to have fun living it.
